泛甲壳动物(学名:Pancrustacea)是甲壳类及六足亚门的总称[1]。这个分类与缺角类有矛盾,因缺角类只包含多足纲及六足亚门,并认为甲壳类是较为疏远的。截至2010年,泛甲壳动物已被广泛接受[2]。
多项分子研究都支持泛甲壳动物是单系群[3][4][5][6],但大部份甲壳类都是昆虫的并系群,即昆虫是演化自甲壳类祖先。
分类
[编辑]泛甲壳动物由原来的颚足纲分拆,再与同属甲壳亚门的介形纲及软甲纲重新组合,成为寡甲总纲(Oligostraca)和多甲总纲 (Multicrustacea)两个总纲[7]。截至2019年12月27日[update],WoRMS纪录泛甲壳动物包括下列各分类单元[7]:
- 甲壳亚门 Crustacea
- ?†袋头纲 Thylacocephala[14]
- 六足亚门 Hexapoda
