伊莉莎白·揚·布魯爾（英語：Elisabeth Young-Brueh；1946年3月3日—2011年12月1日），原名Elisabeth Bulkley Young，是名美國學者和臨床精神分析師。 揚·布魯爾的作品中，最著名的是漢娜·阿倫特和安娜·弗洛伊德的傳記。 [1]1982年撰寫的《漢娜·阿倫特傳》獲得了第一屆哈考特獎（Harcourt Award）；而《偏見的剖析》則於1996年獲頒美國出版商協會最佳心理學書籍獎。[2]揚·布魯爾是多倫多精神分析協會的成員，也共同創辦精神分析教育材料發行商卡弗沙姆企業[3]。
伊麗莎白於2007年一直住在加拿大安大略省多倫多直到去世[4]。
生平[編輯]
揚·布魯爾生於馬里蘭州的一個農家。父親是名高爾夫職業教師，母親是「五月花號」清教徒親屬。自幼在馬里蘭州和特拉華州州長大。[4]
其後，就讀於莎拉·勞倫斯學院，跟隨穆瑞爾．洛基瑟學習詩歌寫作。在「反文化」的1960年代中葉，揚·布魯爾自學院中輟，前往紐約，就讀以反傳統著稱的社會研究新學院（今新學院）。在紐約，她邂逅了羅伯特·布魯爾。稍後，兩人結婚[5]，不久離婚。就在政治學家漢娜·阿倫特加入新學院時，揚·布魯爾在阿倫特底下接受博士指導。1974年取得博士學位後，揚·布魯爾於次年受聘在康乃狄克州維思大學文學院教授哲學[5][6]。
1975年，漢娜·阿倫特病亡，享壽六十九歲。阿倫特故友邀請揚·布魯爾為阿倫特立傳。1982年，揚·布魯爾出版的阿倫特傳記，至今仍是理解漢娜·阿倫特生平的重要作品。該傳已譯成多種語言[5]（包括於2010年出版的希伯來語譯本），英文版於2004年再版 [7]。
經歷撰寫阿倫特傳記，揚·布魯爾對精神分析學產生濃厚的興趣。1983年，她前往康乃狄克州紐黑文參與臨床精神分析培訓。在紐黑文的兒童研究中心，她遇到了安娜·弗洛伊德的幾位美國同事，受邀為安娜·弗洛伊德立傳。1988年，出版《安娜弗洛伊德傳》[5]。
1991年[6]，揚·布魯爾離開衛斯理學院，前往費城，於哈弗福德學院兼職教書。在費城的精神分析協會，揚·布魯爾繼續她的精神分析培訓，並於1999年畢業。此後，揚·布魯爾從事私人精神分析師。[5]1990年代，揚·布魯爾陸續出版了自己的散文集和獲獎的《偏見的剖析》。[8] 2012年，耶魯大學出版社在其死後出版《孩童偏見：面對針對孩童的偏見》。
2011年12月1日，揚·布魯爾因肺栓塞死亡[9][10]，終年65歲。
