無胸罩日（英語：No Bra Day）是每年10月13日的健康宣傳日，鼓勵女性在這天不穿胸罩，喚起大眾對乳腺癌的注意。無胸罩日最初起源於2011年7月9日，三年後改到乳腺癌宣傳月（英語：National Breast Cancer Awareness Month）的10月13日進行。社交媒體用戶會利用標籤#nobraday發帖，推廣乳腺癌健康知識，提倡性別平等，還有用戶鼓勵女性發布自己不穿胸罩的圖片。部分女性將無胸罩日視作政治宣言，其他則將之看作放棄穿着不適且有拘束性的內衣的慰藉。

起源[編輯]

活動原本是加拿大多倫多整形外科醫生米歇爾·布朗（Dr. Mitchell Brown）的「乳房重建宣傳日」（Breast Reconstruction Awareness）。首屆活動名叫「乳房重建——學習與分享之夜」（Breast Reconstruction – An Evening of Learning and Sharing），於2011年10月19日在多倫多女子大學醫院（英語：Women's College Hospital）和多倫多全科醫院舉行[1]。布朗認為，加拿大許多罹患乳腺癌的女性選擇乳房切除術，而拒絕重建手術（英語：Reconstructive Surgery），於是發起這項活動喚起女性對乳房重建的意識[2]。宣傳日旨在提高大眾對乳腺癌篩查的認識，提醒女性注意乳腺癌症狀，鼓勵大家定期進行自查。這項活動於2012年進入美國[3]。

多年來，女性群體一直抗議胸罩造成的身體和文化限制。1966年，時值舊金山嬉皮士活躍的年代，舊金山州立大學的兩名女學生抗議要求女性在校園附近赤裸上身步行時穿胸罩[4][5]。1969年8月1日，舊金山舉行反胸罩日，抗議社會要求女性穿着緊身服裝的壓力，活動吸引大批人士上街遊行堵塞交通，部分女性甚至在金融區隔着衣服脫下胸罩[6][7]。1968年，女權主義者在美利堅小姐選美活動上抗議（英語：Miss America protest），將女性用品扔入垃圾箱。一家報紙的頭條誤把抗議者的行為報道成焚燒胸罩[8]。抗議被解釋為對社會給女性身體和服裝提要求的反對。70年代，女性可以隨性穿衣，無需顧及政治正確。到了80、90年代，胸罩不僅成了專業精神的代名詞，還因為麥當娜穿着粉紅色緞面錐形胸罩受到關注，變成性自由的符號[9]。

無胸罩日[編輯]

首屆無胸罩日活動由一名自稱「Anastasia Doughnuts」的匿名網民於2011年7月9日發起[10][9]，這項活動成了每年的傳統，直到2013年[11]。到了2013年和2014年，社交媒體界宣布7月9日和10月13日為無胸罩日[12][13]。自2015年起，這項活動只在10月13日舉辦[10][14][11]。由於10月份是美國國家乳腺癌宣傳月（英語：National Breast Cancer Awareness Month），活動改到10月13日進行，倡議女性們不穿胸罩[15][16][17]。越來越多的女性（尤其是千禧世代）都反對穿着胸罩[18]。

2012年，活動獲得40萬人參與，其中Facebook有25萬人[11]。到2017年，活動已經普及到30個國家[19]，包括新西蘭、羅馬尼亞、馬來西亞、蘇格蘭、印度和加納[20][21][22][23][24]。女性們紛紛脫下胸罩，自行檢測乳房健康[25]。社交媒體鼓勵女性用話題#nobraday發表她們不穿胸罩的照片[26]，而2017年就有8.2萬多名女性在Twitter和Instagram發圖響應[27]。除此之外，男性也配合穿上紫色衣服。部分網站建議參與者向乳腺癌慈善組織捐款[28]。一名羅馬尼亞攝影師利用這個想法，發布了無胸罩女性的圖片集[24]。

許多名人有不穿胸罩出現在公眾場合的習慣[29][30][31]，受此影響，越來越多的女性選擇不穿胸罩，購買聚攏型胸罩的女性也越來越少，也有人選擇非結構化的無鋼圈軟罩杯胸罩。維多利亞的秘密母公司L Brands三分之一的收益來自胸罩，而在2016年，他們的收益減少了近30%[18]。由於這個趨勢，許多公司開始設計顯示穿着者沒穿胸罩，或是形似沒穿胸罩的衣服[32][33]。為了避免穿衣時露出肩帶，胸罩的流線型輪廓若隱若現，部分女性也不會穿胸罩[34]。

不過，癌症研究組織不認可非官方的無胸罩日活動，它們不是國家乳腺癌宣傳月的正式部分[35][36]，這些活動不會為癌症研究或預防機構籌錢，儘管有人也支持捐錢[37]，評論員指出這類活動「純粹是性」[38]。

部分參與者將不穿胸罩列為如同1968年美國小姐抗議一樣的女權主義抗議。當時，抗議者象徵性地將包括胸罩在內的許多女性產品扔進了「自由垃圾桶」[39]，將這些用品視作「對女性的折磨」[40]，給她們強加女性氣質的附屬品。這場活動遭到媒體的批評，當地報紙《大西洋城報紙》錯誤報道她們焚燒「胸罩、腰帶、胸墊、捲髮棒和流行女性雜誌」[8][41]:109–110。部分女權活動家認為，反女權主義者利用抗議者脫胸罩的觀點，弱化女性嘗試完成的事情，最大限度弱化女權主義運動的重要意義[42][43][44]。

支持無胸罩日的女權主義者擔心社交媒體上的#nobraday話題成為性慾的對象[45]。在菲律賓，這項習俗成了推動性別平等的因素。一名支持活動的記者表示，活動「堅持女性氣質，欣賞我們身為女性的身份......胸罩象徵着女性如何被束縛」[46]。活動推廣性別平等的性質，使得它被拿來和要求不穿衣服合法化的無衣服日（英語：Go Topless Day）作比較[47][48][49][50]。

如今不穿胸罩在部分看來是對無胸罩日的政治化[51]，不穿胸罩與乳腺癌篩查之間的聯繫也遭受批評[52][53][54]。

八卦網站TMZ曾發布一篇題為《無胸罩日快樂》的文章，並附上席琳娜·戈梅茲穿着透視裝的照片，另一家網站也發布圖集《無胸罩日：以解放咪咪為樂的15位名人》[55]。而這個節目衍生的其中一個問題是，乳癌康復者為了看起來像正常人，佩戴義乳必須穿着胸罩，或者把它插入胸罩里，掩蓋痕跡[45][56]。部分評論員認為這個節日性化且利用女性的身體，輕視乳腺癌這種嚴重的疾病[35][11][37][57][58][38]。

「擺脫乳癌樂活無憂」（Living Beyond Breast Cancer）組織的總裁讓·薩克斯（Jean Sachs）認為無胸罩日冒犯人：「我想說，乳腺癌是威脅性命的疾病，穿不穿胸罩都跟它沒關係。」「乳腺癌聯盟」（Breast Cancer Consortium）創辦人兼執行總監蓋爾·史力克（Gayle Sulik）也認為：「我們並沒有真正重視乳腺癌，（那個節日）對疾病的信息造成了極大的破壞性影響[59]。」

新西蘭乳腺癌基金會（New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation）效仿蘇格蘭一檔大獲成功的乳腺癌宣傳電視節目，教導女性乳房形態知識。喜劇演員埃萊娜·史密斯（Elaine C. Smith）在節目中展示通常情況下乳房出現乳腺癌症狀時的形狀[60]。然而，新西蘭廣告審批局（Commercial Approval Bureau）將節目中出於醫療目的展示的乳房和乳頭廣告列為僅限成人觀看級別，需要在晚上8點30分後播出[61]。為了應對政策，基金會在乳頭道具前往放置物件遮擋[60]。

一位作家在Facebook網站上寫道：「題外話，女性們......在這天穿着白色T恤不僅可以接受，而且要鼓勵！」他的話被認為是物化女性身體。部分女性反對將她們不穿胸罩的決定政治化或迷戀她們乳房的企圖。一位女性表示：「原因是我嘗試不穿胸罩時，我更愛它了。這不是一個政治決定，除非一位女性對她的身體所做的事情不是讓別人決定是不是政治決定[51][62]。」
