六線天堂鳥屬（學名：Parotia，中國大陸作六線風鳥屬，台灣作六線天堂鳥屬）是極樂鳥科下的一個屬。[2]
分類歷史[編輯]
該屬由法國鳥類學家路易·皮埃爾·維埃約於1816年描述。[3]其模式種為描述僅歸於該屬下，喬治-路易·勒克萊爾·德·布豐所提及的「Sifilet」，即青銅六線風鳥。[3][1]其屬名Parotia是由par（意為「近」）和古希臘語ωτος （羅馬化：ōtos，意為「耳朵」）組成，指的是「耳邊的毛髮捲曲」，即該屬的雄鳥頭部每側有六根羽毛的特徵。[4][5]
