六线风鸟属（学名：Parotia，中国大陆作六线风鸟属，台湾作六线天堂鸟属）是极乐鸟科下的一个属。[2]
分类历史
[编辑]该属由法国鸟类学家路易·皮埃尔·维埃约于1816年描述。[3]其模式种为描述仅归于该属下，乔治-路易·勒克莱尔·德·布丰所提及的“Sifilet”，即青铜六线风鸟。[3][1]其属名Parotia是由par（意为“近”）和古希腊语ωτος （罗马化：ōtos，意为“耳朵”）组成，指的是“耳边的毛发卷曲”，即该属的雄鸟头部每侧有六根羽毛的特征。[4][5]
