短噸
短噸（英語：short ton）即美噸，為一重量單位，合 2,000英磅（907.18474公斤），主要在美國使用。[1]
美國通常將「噸」（ton）作為短噸的簡稱，而將 公噸（1,000公斤或2,204.62262英磅）與 長噸（2,240英磅或1,016.0469088公斤）分別稱為 metric ton 與 imperial ton。不過，某些場合美國也會用「噸」來表示公噸或長噸（例如海軍艦船中的噸即是指長噸[2]）。
