悉尼·休梅克（英語：Sydney Shoemaker，1931年9月29日—2022年9月3日），美國哲學家，康奈爾大學哲學榮譽教授。主要從事心靈哲學和形而上學研究。
生平[編輯]
早年畢業於里德學院，獲文學學士學位。曾作為富布賴特學者，在愛丁堡大學學習進修。1958年畢業於康奈爾大學，獲得哲學博士學位[1]，師從諾曼·馬爾科姆[2]。1957年至1960年，在俄亥俄州立大學任教。1961年回到母校康奈爾大學哲學系任教。1970年晉升教授。1978年任康奈爾大學蘇珊·林哲學教授[3]。1993年至1994年，擔任美國哲學學會東部分會主席。1996年當選美國文理科學院院士[4]。
1971年，在牛津大學開設「心靈與行為」的約翰·洛克講座。1993年，在布朗大學開設關於「自我知識和內感覺」的羅伊斯講座。
2022年9月3日逝世[5]。
