《生命的色彩》（英語：Colour the Small One）是澳大利亞創作歌手希雅的第三張專輯，於2004年1月19日在澳大利亞和英國發行。專輯於2004年2月3日在美國發行。製作人是吉米·霍加斯（英語：Jimmy Hogarth） ，他還共同創作了三首曲目並在專輯當中彈奏了多種樂器。該專輯於2006年1月10日在美國重新發行，此前曲目《Breathe Me（英語：Breathe Me）》成為HBO電視劇《六尺之下》最後一集的片尾曲後在美國另類電台上走紅。這張專輯在《告示牌》Top Heatseekers專輯榜上最高排名第 14名。《Breathe Me》也出現在電視連續劇《生化女戰士（英語：Bionic Woman (2007 TV series)）》中。

背景與記錄

2000年，希雅在英國錄製了她的上一張個人專輯《難以治癒（英語：Healing Is Difficult）》 ，該專輯於2001年發行。然而她對於這張專輯的宣傳不滿意。希雅解僱了她的經紀人，離開索尼音樂並與環球音樂集團旗下子公司Go! Beat（英語：Go! Beat Records）簽約。[4] [5] [6]這張專輯於2003年在拉伊的Heliocentric Studios錄音室錄製，由吉米·霍加斯（英語：Jimmy Hogarth）製作。[7] [8]希雅認為對她新專輯影響最大的是與零7樂隊（英語：Zero 7）一起巡演。[9]

2003年末，專輯中的《Don't Bring Me Down》作為主打單曲在澳大利亞發行。[13]這首歌后來作為四首歌的迷你專輯《Don't Bring Me Down》並在英國發行。《Breathe Me（英語：Breathe Me）》在澳大利亞以外大多數地區作為首支單曲發行，《Don't Bring Me Down》則是第二首單曲。2004年5月，《Breathe Me》在英國單曲榜上排名第 71 位，而第三首單曲《Where I Belong》則登上了前100名，然而第四首單曲《Numb》並未出現在榜單上。[14]

專輯在英國專輯排行榜排名第 200 名。[14]兩首歌曲《Breathe Me》和《Sunday》拍攝了音樂錄影帶，歌曲《Numb》則製作了動畫影片作為錄影帶。之後《Don't Bring Me Down》放出現場版影像作為音樂錄影帶，該版本收錄於2007年4月的現場專輯《魅力女聲》中。

《生命的色彩》最初的澳大利亞版有 11 首曲目， [7]後來的版本添加了《Butterflies》這首歌。
