短腳鵯屬（屬名：Hypsipetes，由古希臘文的 ὕψῐ / hypsi 與 πετής / pétēs 轉寫而成，意為「高飛者」[3]）是雀形目鵯科的一個屬，屬於中小型鳴禽，羽色多為欖綠色、灰色或黑色調，嘴喙較大部分鵯科鳥類筆直，前端略為下彎，部分物種具有尖形的羽冠[4][5]。短腳鵯屬成員主要分佈於季風亞洲，以及西印度洋的馬達加斯加與鄰近島嶼，一些可能屬於這個屬的物種則還分佈於華萊士區[6]。
