建增八(人马座ρ2)是在黄道星座人马座的一颗恒星,它的视星等为+5.87等[2],接近肉眼可以看到的恒星下限。根据从地球观测得到9.82mas的年周视差 [1],它距离太阳约330光年。
这是一颗恒星分类为K0III,为演化的K型巨星[3]。根据1997年的月掩星观测,在21mas的角距离处发现了一颗伴星。它似乎是一颗A型主序星,类型约为A5。这颗伴星在之前的月掩星中没有被发现[8]。
