生平
[编辑]克林斯出生于美国波士顿，母亲名为Rebecca Tippens。 [5]由于他的家庭很贫穷，经常因欠租而被赶走，他小时候最少每年要换一次学校。最后在Greenfield Center School毕业后，于1992年在Northfield Mount Hermon高中毕业。大学在芝加哥大学修读社会学。[6]在演戏之前，他在克林顿政府时期的白宫总统人事办公室实习了四个月。[7][8]
职业生涯
[编辑]克林斯在1999年得到电影《Liberty Heights》和《Girl Interrupted》的演出机会后，到了洛杉矶，正式取艺名为米沙·克林斯。由于他曾到俄罗斯，能带俄罗斯口音说话，所以得到过很多这类角色。尤其是电视节目《24》第一季中的Alexis Drazen。此后他也一直客串于各电视节目和电影。2006年他主演电影《Karla》，饰演Paul Bernardo。他于2008年开始在《邪恶力量》中饰演的卡斯提尔（Castiel），成为常驻演员，使他的知名度增加。本来他以为自己是在试镜一个恶魔，一个顶级恶魔，所以尽量表现得好斗而且卑劣。 但他读完台词后，该剧的制作人Eric Kripke才表示其实他们是要一个天使，只是为了保密而不公布。后来他就被录取了，演出《邪恶力量》第四至十季。[9] 为了演绎这个角色，米夏读了《启示录》以做准备。[10]
在2008年他在电影《Loot》中首次担任助理制片人，该片导演是他中学时最要好的朋友，而这是他朋友的第一部电影，他负责编辑的工作。
2022年，他在CW即将上映的《哥谭骑士》节目中饰演双面人哈维·丹特。[11][12]
个人生活
[编辑]2002年，在缅因州和Victoria Vantoch结婚，[13][14]两人的长子West Anaximander在2010年9月23日出生，二女儿Maison Marie生于2012年9月25日。
