保守民主党人（Conservative Democrat）是指民主党中支持美国保守主义的党员。许多当选地方首长或议会议员的保守民主党人基本上都来自美国南部、农村地区、锈带以及美国中西部。[10][11]
在1964年美国总统选举之前，民主党和共和党内部都有自由派、温和派和保守派，这些派别在两党内都具有影响力。在1964年之后，保守派在共和党中开始逐渐成为主流。
民主党内部，美国现代自由主义人士成为主流，1990年代时民主党内的中间主义也形成了一定的规模，民主党内的中间主义还与保守派人士共同发起蓝狗联盟。
21世纪以来，保守民主党人与洛克菲勒共和党都成为了政治少数派。
