2MASS J00361617+1821104 (简写为 2MASS 0036+1821) 是一颗位于双鱼座的棕矮星,距离地球28.4光年[3]。
2MASS 0036+1821的光谱类型为L3.5,表面温度为1300-2000K。与其他L 型棕矮星一样,它的光谱主要是金属氢化物和碱金属。由于自行运动,它的位置每年移动0.9071角秒。
2MASS 0036+1821的表面完全被云层覆盖,尽管云层看起来很薄(小于十个光学深度)[2],由于异常快速的旋转,它在光球层级拥有超过1000 G的强磁场[4],并以其无线电发射而闻名[5]。
