棕沙燕（中國大陸作褐喉沙燕，香港作灰喉沙燕，學名：Riparia chinensis），燕科沙燕屬的一種。2022年，為更好地反映其形態特徵，「中國鳥類名錄」10.0版將棕沙燕的中文名修改為棕沙燕。[2]
分佈於塔吉克斯坦，阿富汗和印度次大陸到華南、台灣和菲律賓北部。以前被認為與「非洲褐喉沙燕」是同一物種。
特徵[編輯]
棕沙燕體重約9.8克，翼長約89.9公釐，嘴峰長約9公釐，喙寬度約3公釐，喙厚度約2公釐，跗蹠長約11.3公釐，尾長約42公釐。棕沙燕是部分遷徙的鳥類，其棲息在開放的野地，如農田，草原和熱帶草原，通常靠近水域，食性為肉食性，主要食物來源是陸生無脊椎動物。[3]
亞種[編輯]
- R. c. chinensis：分布於阿富汗和巴基斯坦至北印度、緬甸和東南亞地區。
- R. c. tantilla：分布於菲律賓北部。[4]
