民主黨是一個利比亞政黨，2011年7月14日由利比亞自由與民主運動組建成立，以追求後卡扎菲時代的民主道路[1]。
政治理念[編輯]
該黨追求世俗主義與自由主義價值觀。該組織認為全國委員會是利比亞過渡時期的必要組織，而非正統的權力機構[2]。認為民主過渡需要聯合國的監督，並維護國家的獨立性[3]。
該黨支持猶太復國運動，承認以色列的合法地位[4]。也支持利比亞猶太人的合法權利。支持政教分離、信仰自由，並尊重所有宗教[5]，以此來反對極端宗教主義和蓋達組織[6]。
該黨目前與一些智庫密切合作，比如club of Madrid, Gorbachev Foundation 和 The Westminster Foundation for Democracy，以實現自己的目標。
