On the walls of this memorial are recorded the names of twenty-four thousand soldiers and airmen of many races united in service to the British crown who gave their lives in Malaya and neighbouring lands and seas and in the air over southern and eastern Asia and the Pacific but to whom the fortune of war denied the customary rites accorded to their comrades in death THEY DIED FOR ALL FREE MEN | |
克兰芝阵亡战士公墓（英语：Kranji War Memorial；马来语：Tanah Perkuburan Perang Kranji；坦米尔语：கிராஞ்சி போர் நினைவு），位于新加坡北部市郊克兰芝[1]，是纪念在第二次世界大战中于新加坡及马来西亚抵御日军阵亡的英国、澳大利亚、加拿大、斯里兰卡、印度、马来亚、荷兰和新西兰裔死者[2]。
