大西洋黨（英語：Atlantica Party）是加拿大新斯科舍省的一個政黨。2016年6月28日，新斯科舍省選舉機構將大西洋黨註冊為政黨。[1]
選舉[編輯]
大西洋黨在2017年新斯科舍省大選中提名了15名候選人，這是該黨的首次參加競選[2]。該黨共贏得1,632張選票，占全省總票數的0.41%[3]。
選舉綱領[編輯]
2017年新斯科舍省大選中，該黨提出了以下綱領：
- 消除政府對私營部門的干預（即補貼、貸款）。
- 酒類零售批發市場私有化。
- 降低個人所得稅，取消企業和小企業所得稅。
- 養老金和薪酬改革。
- 選舉改革。[4]
領導人[編輯]
最初的領導人喬納森·迪恩於2018年1月7日宣布辭職。[5]
瑞安·史密斯於2018年1月16日被正式任命為黨的臨時領導人，他在2018年1月7日，即迪安辭職的當天接任臨時領導人[6]。瑞安·史密斯於2019年4月18日辭去臨時領導人職務。托馬斯·貝瑟爾於2019年4月23日由該黨選舉為新的臨時領導人。他於2020年3月26日辭職。瑞安·史密斯於2020年3月29日再次當選為臨時領導人。
相關事件[編輯]
2018年6月20日，新斯科舍省選舉事務首長理查德·坦波拉勒因大西洋黨前領導人喬納森·迪恩非法貸款而分別違反法規第216(3)(a)條和第216(3)(b)條，將該黨停止運作。[7]
7月31日，迪恩與新斯科舍省選舉機構達成了一項遵守協議[8]。該黨於2019年8月7日與新斯科舍省選舉機構簽署了自己的遵守協議[9]。
2018年8月16日，大西洋黨被新斯科舍省選舉機構恢復運作[10]。
