沙蟹屬（學名：Ocypode）是一種常見的海灘螃蟹，分佈在很多國家。其特徵為有一隻螯比另一隻大，但是沒有招潮蟹屬螃蟹差異那麼明顯。

生態[編輯]

沙蟹生活在熱帶和亞熱帶地區沙灘。它們使用鰓呼吸，通過海水定期保持濕潤。它們還必須返回到海洋產卵^[3]。

成年沙蟹挖很深的洞穴，深度約30 cm^[4]。這些洞穴有一個很長的通道的盡頭是房間，偶爾會有兩個入口。一天中最熱的時候它們呆在洞裏，冬天最冷的時候也是如此。它們通常在夜晚出沒，捕食貝類等^[5]。
