獨立遊戲節
獨立遊戲節（英文：Independent Games Festival ）是每年一度的遊戲開發商大會，同是每年的獨立電子遊戲產業一次盛會。該遊戲節於1998年建立，用來資助和激發遊戲開發和創新並為發掘出最佳的獨立遊戲而設立[1] 。獨立遊戲節已度過了15個春秋，每屆獎勵獨立遊戲開發商和學生共達53,000美金。遊戲節的獎項的選舉工作由CMP Game Group組織以及遊戲開發商大會、遊戲開發者雜誌和Gamasutra.com共同評選產生。獨立遊戲節最受人關注的就是塞尤瑪斯·麥克納利大獎，是遊戲節最高獎項。
獎項設置[編輯]
獨立遊戲節的主要八個獎項如下

獨立遊戲節學生展示是遊戲開發商會議在學生遊戲作品作品選出的10個傑出作品，並給予學生遊戲開發者500美元的獎勵。2007年第一次設立該獎項時，建立了最佳學生遊戲獎，並給予2500美元的獎金。
塞尤瑪斯·麥克納利大獎[編輯]
塞尤瑪斯·麥克納利大獎（Seumas McNally Grand Prize）是遊戲節的最高獎項，是緣於塞尤瑪斯·麥克納利是一位獨立遊戲開發者。他曾開發的遊戲《越野坦克》獲得遊戲節最佳遊戲大獎。但麥克納利因罹患何杰金氏病而去世，年僅21歲。在他與病魔鬥爭的年月里，他仍然繼續開發新的遊戲，創新遊戲特色，他所開發遊戲受到很多玩家的歡迎。後來在2001年為紀念這位年輕的獨立遊戲開發者，獨立遊戲節將遊戲節最高獎項命名為塞尤瑪斯·麥克納利大獎。[2]
