爱登堡长吻针鼹（学名：Zaglossus attenboroughi）是新几内亚特有的原针鼹属物种，也是该属体型最小的成员，分布于印尼巴布亚省近圣塔尼及查亚普拉，得名自英国生物学家大卫·爱登堡。与澳洲针鼹接近。它的前后肢均有五趾，有浓密的短毛。
爱登堡长吻针鼹最初的描述是基于一个在荷兰殖民地时代搜集的已损坏标本，自此以后似乎没有新发现。[3]由于人类发现影响了森林栖息地，故有指它们已是濒危或在当地消失。但是，由于巴布亚省的生物研究并不完整，故有可能它们仍然活在当地的山区。
2007年，有消息指出在印尼的独眼巨人山脉发现爱登堡长吻针鼹的巢穴及足迹，当地人民亦表示曾于2005年见过它们。[4]2023年11月，在印尼的独眼巨人山脉拍摄到该物种的影像。[5]
