红尾鸲属（學名：Phoenicurus）是雀形目鶲科下的一個屬。[2]本屬物種分佈於舊大陸地區，目前下屬14個物種。[2]
命名歷史[编辑]
本屬由英國鳥類學家托馬斯·伊格內修斯·瑪麗亞·福斯特於1817年建立。[3]其模式種根據當時單型及重名的緣故指定為欧亚红尾鸲。[1]其屬名Phoenicurus來自林奈賦予欧亚红尾鸲的種小名phoenicurus，該詞源自古希臘語的Φοῖνιξ（羅馬化：phoinix、意為「緋紅色或紫色的」）及οὖρος（羅馬化：-ouros、意為「尾巴」）組成。[4]
