齿缘癞颈龟属（Elseya[1]）是蛇颈龟科下的一个属，该属的龟发现于澳大利亚北部及东北部以及新几内亚的河流中。[2] 它们的嘴部构造特殊并有齿槽。[3] 其模式种为齿缘癞颈龟。
分类学
[编辑]齿缘癞颈龟属下有8种：
- 齿缘癞颈龟（ Elseya dentata Gray, 1863[4]）
- 布氏癞颈龟（Elseya branderhorsti Ouwens, 1914[5]）
- 欧文癞颈龟（Elseya irwini Cann, 1997[6]）
- 拉氏癞颈龟（Elseya lavarackorum White & Archer, 1994[7] ）
- 白喉癞颈龟（ Elseya albagula Thomson, Georges & Limpus, 2006[2]）
- 新几内亚癞颈龟（Elseya novaeguineae Meyer, 1874.[8]）新几内亚癞颈龟曾在2010年被重新划分到宽胸癞颈龟属下，[9] 但是不久被移回。舒氏癞颈龟（Elseya schultzei Vogt, 1911）[10] 是新几内亚癞颈龟的亚种。[11]
