Littoraria irrorata为玉黍螺科之下的一个生活于北美洲大西洋海岸与墨西哥湾岸咸水沼泽的物种，从麻省到德萨斯州皆有其踪影。旧属中腹足目蝾螺属，今已重新分类为高腹足类支序（Hypsogastropoda）玉黍螺总科玉黍螺属[1][2]。
本物种是少数已知会透过培殖真菌来为自己提供营养的软体生物物种之一[3]。
