《地海巫师》（英语：A Wizard of Earthsea）是美国作家娥苏拉·勒瑰恩于1968年发表的奇幻小说，是地海系列的第一部长篇小说，曾获1969年的波士顿环球报号角书奖。故事叙述传奇法师格得的少年成长过程。

剧情提要

在地海世界，一个充满著岛屿、海洋、魔法的奇幻世界，万物皆有真名。而当知晓了某物／人之真名，便能成为其主人。

少年雀鹰（Sparrowhawk）是弓忒岛上的牧羊童，天生拥有强大的法力天赋，由于渴望智识法艺更上层楼，而在授与他真名格得（Ged）的师傅欧吉安推荐下，前往柔克岛的巫师学院，学习更高深的魔法知识。他因才华出众而在学院里备受瞩目，但也因心高气傲而铸下大错：某日，格得为同侪所激，挑战触犯禁忌的秘术，召唤亡灵，却遭到未知的黑影袭击，几乎丧命。

在休养康复之后，格得完成学院学业，领受巫杖，前往担任九十屿群岛的守护巫师，并且击败蟠多之龙完成任务。然而黑影的威胁仍在——这来自无名之地的无形怪物渴望侵夺格得的身体。格得在恐惧之下逃离，却又误入陷阱，在北方的瓯司可岛险些成为黑暗太古力的奴仆，最后他变换身形成为旅鹰，飞翔回到弓忒岛。在那儿，欧吉安给了他一个建议：“转身”。格得理解到，逃亡漫无目标、操之在人，并又无法解决问题，他应当主动追寻，自己选择前进的方向。

出乎意料地，当格得起而迎战时，黑影竟从他面前遁去。于是双方立场倒转，格得在学院好友费渠（Vetch）的协助下，驾船在海上追逐黑影，直至东陲海域尽头。最终格得理解到黑影其实是他自己的另一面，借由以自己的真名“格得”呼唤黑影，他重新合而为一，为自己所犯的误失画下句点。

人物介绍

• 雀鹰/格得(Sparrowhawk/Ged)
  • 本书主角，诞生于弓忒岛的十杨村。虽是个出身平凡的牧羊童，然而天生拥有不凡的巫力，十三岁左右就曾以此协助村人歼灭入侵的蛮族。被智者欧吉安授与真名后，成为他的学徒，后在欧吉安推荐下前往柔克岛的巫师学院学习。然而却被学长贾似珀所激而使用黑魔法，不慎召唤出一个黑影。

  • 弓忒岛锐亚白镇的老巫师，曾于多年前镇压了一场大地震，在当地很受敬重。雀鹰的老师，授与了‘格得’这个真名。为人沉静寡语，无为而无不为，格得对他这样的处世态度曾感到困惑，但慢慢也了解了其中的道理。对母亲早逝，父亲严厉寡言的格得来说，是个如同亲人般的存在。
