维基爱古迹（英语：Wiki Loves Monuments，缩写为WLM） 是一年一度、在九月份举行的国际性摄影比赛，由全球的维基百科社群举办。参与者给其所在区域的历史古迹与遗址拍照，并上传至维基共享资源。此活动的目的是为了突出参与国的遗址。
2010年，首届“维基爱古迹”竞赛在荷兰举行。第二年扩大至欧洲其他国家，并且根据《吉尼斯世界纪录大全》，2011年的“维基爱古迹”活动打破了“最大摄影比赛”的世界纪录。[1]在2012年，比赛已扩大到了欧洲以外的地区，共有5大洲35个参与国。[2]该年比赛打破了2011年保持的吉尼斯世界纪录，共获得353768张照片，是2011年两倍有馀。

最初创建该比赛的目的是与荷兰的网站Rijksmonument竞争，后者鼓励参与者拍摄建筑及其他风景照片，第一次举办就收到超过12,500份作品。[3]
WLM成立后，其他欧洲国家因此也对该网站产生了兴趣，通过欧洲遗产日的协调，2011年18个国家加入了该网站中，[4][5]上传了约170,000张图片。根据《吉尼斯世界纪录》，2011年的维基爱古迹比赛是当时世界最大的摄影比赛，超过五千位参与者上传了168,208张图片到维基共享上。[1]
规则[编辑]
维基爱古迹的基本规则比较简单，参与国委员会只需将他们上传的古迹图片加上座标和特别的识别标志，并在9月1日至30日之间上传即可。参赛者必须直接将照片上传到维基共享，也就是说他们必须有一个维基共享账号，否则匿名作品将无法赢得奖励。图像拍摄的时间随意，但考虑到竞赛的缘故，该图片需不曾出现在维基共享上，且应在创作共用授权条款（或兼容的CC-by或CC-0等）下属于自由版权。[6]
此外图像需要是“百科全书式”的，因此其中的主体必须是当地政府认可的古迹或地点。这需要参赛国自己确认。
识别标记[编辑]
为了帮助参赛者找到古迹的座标并加上识别标志，上传表单可从维基爱古迹网站连入。[7]此外维基爱古迹也开发了Android智能手机应用程式，[8]而MairDumont则为其开发了IPhone 的应用程式。[9]
因为许多选手都是首次接触维基百科或维基共享，所以维基爱古迹网站和这些程序的目的之一就是简化加入特别标志的过程。这些特别标志使用维基百科模板，例如为“Smedestraat 33, Haarlem”的识别码是19695，并可以在德语维基爱古迹网站中的以下模板中找到：[10]
