細盲蛇屬（學名：Leptotyphlops）是蛇亞目細盲蛇科下的一個無毒蛇屬，主要分布於北美洲、南美洲、非洲及西南亞等。目前共有86個物種已被確認。[2]
特徵[編輯]
大部分細盲蛇外表都像有光澤的蚯蚓。牠們多以棕色或粉紅色為主，體型幼小，身體上的鱗片有明顯的節狀紋理。其它種類的盲蛇大概也有類似的特徵，不過該類盲蛇多以黑色為主。細盲蛇的眼睛極小，僅成點狀，而且幾乎完全沒有視力。
地理分布[編輯]
細盲蛇廣泛分布於美洲、非洲及西南亞。在美洲裡，細盲蛇分布於美國西南部、大部分中美洲及南美洲（包括烏拉圭及阿根廷）一帶。[1]
習性[編輯]
盲蛇都善於掘洞，並棲息於地下。平時牠們大都生活於地洞之中，只有在雨天時才可能走上地面。盲蛇的主要食糧是螞蟻及白蟻，與及牠們的蟲卵和幼蟲。
