螽蟬科(學名:Tettigarctidae)是半翅目蟬總科下的一科,是真蟬的近親。[1][2]
本科的模式屬為螽蟬屬(Tettigarcta),也是本科唯一存有現生種的屬,其下有兩個現存物種,一種是澳大利亞南部的T. crinita,一種是塔斯馬尼亞島的T. tomentosa。除了螽蟬屬外,螽蟬科還包含20多個已滅絕、僅包含化石物種的屬,化石類群包括來自新西蘭中新世的Paratettigarcta,[3]法國古新世的Meuniera,[4] 中國晚侏羅世的Sanmai,[5]和加拿大晚白堊世早期的Maculaferrum等。[6]
