巨鸊鷉屬（學名：Podilymbus）是鷉形目鸊鷉科下的一個屬。[2]
命名與分類學[編輯]
本屬由法國博物學家勒內-普里梅韋勒·萊松於1831年為斑嘴巨鷿鷈建立，而該物種也因單型而成為該屬模式種。[1][3]其屬名Podilymbus來自於英國生態學家約翰·萊瑟姆早先命名的鸊鷉屬Podiceps。[4]
