《We Write the Story》是由前ABBA成員比約恩·奧瓦爾斯和本尼·安德森與瑞典已故DJ兼唱片製作人艾維奇共同創作的歌曲。在iTunes和Spotify上歌曲作者寫為「艾維奇，B&B & Choir」。歌曲在2013年歐洲歌唱大賽決賽上正式發行，並在在荷蘭百強單曲榜中名列第73名[1]。

2013年4月15日，歐洲廣播聯盟（EBU）宣佈本尼，比約恩和艾維奇將為2013年歐洲歌唱大賽製作讚歌[2][3]。從今年比賽的策劃初期，官方就有了為2013年比賽製作「歐洲讚歌」的想法。從一開始，本尼，比約恩和艾維奇就在瑞典電視台（SVT）希望合作的音樂人名單上名列前茅[2]。執行製片人馬丁·厄斯特達爾說：
「我們非常高興地宣佈，本尼，比約恩和艾維奇已同意為2013年歐洲歌唱大賽譜寫一首獨特的音樂作品。」[4]
ABBA四位成員中的兩位，安德森和奧瓦爾斯（另外兩位是昂內塔·費爾特斯科格和弗瑞德·林斯塔德）表示同意主辦瑞典電視台的「比賽視角」。此次合作被譽為「瑞典兩大音樂出口國商的結盟」[4]。《We Write the Story》在5月18日的決賽中首次展示[5]。

值得注意的是，據英國官方榜單公司公佈的英國單曲排行榜顯示，《We Write the Story》於周中上榜並排在第199名，但最終並未進入周終榜前200名[7]。
