楊順 (傳教士)

楊順（Stephen Johnson，1803年4月15日—1886年）又名詹思文，是美國公理會差會派往中國福州的先鋒傳教士。
1803年4月15日，楊順出生在美國馬薩諸塞州Conn的格里斯沃爾德。1827年，他畢業於阿默斯特學院，1829-1832年就讀於奧本神學院[1]。
1833年，楊順受美國公理會差會派遣，前往暹羅曼谷，向當地來自福建省的華人移民傳教，學會福建方言。1846年，他前往中國福州傳教，1847年1月2日到達福州，為抵達該市的第一位新教傳教士[2]。但是他發現福州方言與他在曼谷學到的方言大為不同。他先在中洲租屋居住，他認為這是一個富有潛力的傳教中心，建議美國公理會差會迅速增援力量。幾個月後曾經在暹羅同工的弼利民（Lyman Birt Peet）夫婦來到福州與他會合。
楊順在福州傳教將近6年後，由於健康原因被迫於1853年返回美國[3][4]。1886年在紐約州Gouverneur去世。
