巨带蛇（学名：Thamnophis gigas）是束带蛇属中最大的蛇。它们主要是水生的。
生物及生态[编辑]
巨带蛇是美国加利福尼亚州中央谷地湿地的特有种。它们于水温20℃以上时最为活跃；若水温较低，它们则会躲在地底。它们主要吃鱼类及青蛙。
保育状况[编辑]
由于湿地被大幅的破坏，巨带蛇也受到威胁。[2]它们在圣华金谷只余下很少的数量[3]，并已从以往98%的分布地消失。[4]在莎加缅度山谷（Sacramento Valley）的情况稍为好些，因为当地种植稻米及运河形成了它们的栖息地。[2]若稻米收割后，它们则会迁到附近的地方。[5]除了失去栖息地外，入侵的掠食者如美国牛蛙也限制了它们的数量。[6]现有措施恢复湿地的环境供它们栖息，但其效用则有待确定。
