斑腹雀属（学名：Pytilia）是雀形目梅花雀科下的一个属，主要分布于非洲。[1]该属由威廉·约翰·斯温森于1837年为了红翅斑腹雀所建立。[2][3]其属名Pytilia为Pitylus的缩写，原由法国博物学家乔治·居维叶于1829年为俗称“Grosbeak”的一众鸟类建立（中文俗称为蜡嘴鸟或松雀）。[4]在分子系统发生学中，此属的鸟类为双斑雀属、斑雀属、褐双点雀属及火雀属的基干分支。[5]
