[编辑]2011年9月，儿童奇幻小说《野林守护战》发行后，莱卡宣布制作该片的定格动画长片，并为小说制作了书籍预告[1][2]。2021年9月，莱卡宣布下一部作品将是《荒野丛林》，由崔维斯·奈特执导，艾莉安娜·萨特纳（Arianne Sutner）制片，克里斯·巴特勒编剧[3][4][5]。

[编辑]2022年8月，莱卡公布配音阵容，包括嘉莉·慕莱根、马赫夏拉·阿里、佩顿·伊丽莎白·李、雅各布·特伦布莱、奥卡菲娜、安琪拉·贝茜、杰克·强森、查理·戴、阿曼德拉·斯坦伯格、杰梅奈·克莱门特、玛雅·厄斯金、丹图·卡蒂娜、汤姆·威茨以及理查·E·格兰特[6][7]。
拍摄
[编辑]电影于2021年9月开始制作，由凯莱布·丹斯切尔担任摄影师[8]。定格动画的制作在莱卡位于波特兰的工作室外面进行[9]。
音乐
[编辑]2022年5月，达利欧·马里安利被透露为该片进行配乐，这也是他与奈特继《怪怪箱》、《酷宝：魔弦传说》和《大黄蜂》后第四次合作的电影[10]。
