该隐与亚伯（Cain and Abel、 הֶבֶל ,קַיִן Qayin, Hevel），神话中，该隐与亚伯是亚当和夏娃所生下的两个儿子。该隐是农民，他的弟弟亚伯为一个牧羊人。该隐是神话史上第一个谋杀他人的人类，亚伯是第一个死去的人类。该隐与亚伯的妻子可能是他们的母亲夏娃或自己的妹妹.
该隐犯下神话史上第一次杀人事件，他杀害他的兄弟亚伯。古代和现代的评论家通常假设该隐杀人动机是嫉妒和愤怒[1]。虽然该隐和亚伯的故事在《古兰经》中出现，但是仅指出他们是亚当的儿子（阿拉伯语：ابني آدم），没有提到名字。[2]

[编辑]圣经译文：“有一日，那人（亚当）和他妻子夏娃同房，夏娃就怀孕，生了该隐，便说：‘耶和华使我得了一个男子。’又生了该隐的兄弟亚伯。亚伯是牧羊的；该隐是种地的。有一日，该隐拿地里的出产为供物献给耶和华；亚伯也将他羊群中头生的和羊的脂油献上。耶和华看中了亚伯和他的供物，只是看不中该隐和他的供物。该隐就大大的发怒，变了脸色。耶和华对该隐说：‘你为什么发怒呢？你为什么变了脸色呢？你若行得好，岂不蒙悦纳？你若行得不好，罪就伏在门前。他必恋慕你，你却要制伏他。’该隐与他兄弟亚伯说话；二人正在田间。该隐起来打他兄弟亚伯，把他杀了。”[3]
