日本駐亞特蘭大總領事館，是日本政府在美國亞特蘭大設立的外交代表機構。館址設在巴克海特，其領事範圍為喬治亞州、阿拉巴馬州、北卡羅來納州、南卡羅來納州和維吉尼亞州。^[1]

歷史[編輯]

日本駐亞特蘭大總領事館於1974年2月15日設立，當時有20家日本公司在美國東南部開展業務。^[2] 1995年，總領事宮本雄二表示，日本與喬治亞州等州之間的經濟關係和「基層關係」正在增進。^[3]同年，美國南部幾個州的200名工會工作者在當時的領事館所在的「殖民地廣場」舉行抗議活動，他們向領事館遞交了一封關於更換正在打擊的2000多名凡士通工作人員的上訴函。^[4]

2002年，領事館宣布從「殖民地廣場」搬到聯盟中心。它在那裡簽了十年租約，面積不到26,000平方英尺（2400平方米）。領事館在殖民地廣場的租約還有三年多。由於Trizec Properties公司擁有兩個辦公室物業，因此領事館很容易搬到新的位置。^[5]2005年，在美國東南部有近700家日本企業，雇用超過89,500人。當年日本的累計投資超過200億美元。 2005年，該地區有近2萬名日本人居住，其中喬治亞州有6,600人。^[2]

它位於亞特蘭大巴克海特地區菲普斯塔的850套房。^[1] 以前（截至2005年），領事館位於聯盟中心16樓的1600室，^[6]^[7] 總領事館的北面可以看到肯尼索山的全景。2005年，總領事館位於巴克黑德。^[7] 1995年之前，領事館在亞特蘭大市中心的殖民地廣場。^[4]
