安吉利生於約1988年[3]，母親是瑪莎·錢斯利[19]。他的高中時光在亞利桑那州鳳凰城的月谷高中（英語：Moon Valley High School）度過，大學就讀於格蘭岱爾社區學院（英語：Glendale Community College (Arizona)），大學期間他曾修過一些心理學、宗教、哲學和制陶瓷的課程[20][21]。

職業生涯[編輯]

安吉利於2005年9月26日應徵加入美國海軍。經過新兵訓練（英語：Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois）和供應事務員培訓後，他於2006年3月被分配至小鷹號航空母艦。隨後他因拒絕接種炭疽疫苗而被海軍開除。2007年9月29日，他被送至華盛頓州普吉特海灣一個暫住人員單位，並於10月11日被辦理了退伍手續。服役兩年零15天後，他的最終軍階為海軍三等兵（英語：Seaman apprentice）兼補給士官（英語：Storekeeper）[22][23][24]。他的軍事獎項和勳章包括國防部服役獎章、反恐戰爭服役獎章、海上服務部署緞帶（英語：Sea Service Ribbon#Navy and Marine Corps Sea Service Deployment Ribbon）及海外服務緞帶（英語：Overseas Service Ribbon）[22]。
