獨立級近海任務艦（英語：Independence-class littoral mission vessel），為新加坡海軍的近海作戰艦艇 ，設計由瑞典SAAB集團協助[5]。

歷史沿革[编辑]

2013年1月30日，新加坡科技工程有限公司獲得一份設計和建造8艘近海任務艦的合約，以取代現役的無畏級巡邏艦（英语：Fearless-class patrol vessel），而該集團的電子部門ST Electronics將提供核心作戰系統和作戰系統集成解決方案。首艦計劃於2016年交付，所有8艘於2020年服役[6][7]。首艦於2014年9月11日安放龍骨，新加坡國防部於2015年2月12日舉行命名競賽，獲勝名稱由國防部長黃永宏於2015年5月15日公佈[8]。
