纯色鹦哥属（學名：Brotogeris，台湾作班翅鸚鵡屬）是金刚鹦鹉科下的一个属。[2]本屬是一群分佈於中南美洲的小型綠色鸚鵡，目前下屬8個物種。[2]
命名與分類學[编辑]
班翅鸚鵡屬是由愛爾蘭動物學家尼古拉斯·艾爾沃德·維格於1832年所建立的屬。[3][4]其模式種同時由維格指定為灰頰鸚哥。[1]其屬名Brotogeris源自於古希臘語的βροτογηρυς（羅馬化：brotogērus），意思是「有人類聲音的」。[5]

在生物分類學上，這個屬因為其外觀型態相似的關係，常常與Forpus、Touit及Nannopsittaca並列。[7]:2861975年時，德國鳥類學家漢斯·埃德蒙·沃爾特斯將這個屬與Nannopsittaca歸類於亞科層級的Brotogeryinae下，並將本屬劃分為兩個亞屬——Brotogeris及Tirica。[8][9]但現在根據研究，本屬隸屬於新熱帶鸚鵡亞科Androglossini族。[6][10]這個屬與和尚鸚鵡屬互為姊妹群，兩者約在16—19百萬年前分化成兩個屬的，而班翅鸚鵡屬內部則在大約600萬年前開始分化成現今的8個物種。[11]
形態特徵[编辑]
本屬的鸚鵡均為體型較小的綠色鸚鵡，翅膀長、尖；而尾巴較為尖細，尾羽長度上均較Forpus及Touit屬的鸚鵡來得長。[12]如同其他居於新熱帶鸚鵡亞科成員，本屬鸚鵡缺乏尾脂腺，而是以粉末狀的物質保持其羽毛整潔。[7]:287雌雄同色，幼鳥與成鳥相似。[12]
居住環境及行為[编辑]
本屬鳥類會在森林、農田和公園等多種有樹木的棲息地活動，是一種樹棲性群聚鳥類。[12]其食性多樣，自食蜜、食白蟻、淡水螺皆有可能。[7]:310
保護情況[编辑]
該屬鸚鵡均受《瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約》所保護，並被列於附錄二內。[13]在整個班翅鸚鵡屬內，僅有灰颊鹦哥因遭受過度的棲地損失及捕捉貿易因素而被列為易危物種，估計其總族群約有15000隻。[14]
