管蛇科是蛇亚目下的一个单型科，主要包含亚洲一带的管蛇。^[2]管蛇科是洞栖性蛇类，身体有著斑驳的黑白相间体纹。目前^[何时？]管蛇科下有8个品种已被确认。^[3]

地理分布[编辑]

管蛇科主要分布在自斯里兰卡东至缅甸、泰国、柬埔寨、越南、寮国及马来群岛一带，以至新畿内亚的西南岸。另外，在中国南部如福建、香港、海南岛亦有发现它们的踪迹。^[1]
