绵蟹总科（Dromioidea）是十足目短尾下目（螃蟹）的绵蟹派之下三个总科的其中一个，其成员主要在马达加斯加发现。绵蟹总科生物最早期的化石是在达宁阶的岩层发现[3]。
分类[编辑]
根据Grave et al.，本总科包括下列三个科[2]：
ITIS根据 Bowmen (1982)[4]，不包括Etyiidae，但还包括以下两个科[1]：
- Family Dakoticancridae：在 Grave et al. (2009) 升格成为一个总科[2]。
- Family Prosopidae von Meyer, 1860[4]：在 Grave et al. (2009) 归入人面绵蟹总科[2]。
另外，在 Grave et al. (2008) 提及的Tymolidae[5]，WoRMS亦不承认，认为只是圆关公蟹科（Cyclodorippidae Ortmann, 1892）的同种异名[6]。
