棕尾鹟䴕（学名：Galbula ruficauda），是啄木鸟目鹟䴕科鹟䴕属下的一种鸟类。[2]
命名与分类[编辑]
棕尾鹟䴕是法国博物学家乔治·居维叶于1816年所描述的物种。[3][注 1]其模式产地位于法属圭亚那卡宴。[5]:325其属名Galbula来自瑞典生物学家卡尔·林奈赋予绿尾鹟䴕的种加词galbula，原指称一种黄色的小鸟，现被后来的研究者认为是指某种黄鹂。[6]:169种加词ruficauda由来自拉丁语的rufus（意指“红色、红润的”）及cauda（意指“尾巴”）组成。[6]:223

亚种与分布地[编辑]
棕尾鹟䴕目前有六个亚种：[2]
- G. r. ruficauda：指名亚种，主要分布于哥伦比亚、委内瑞拉、圭亚那、巴西、特立尼达和多巴哥。
- G. r. melanogenia：分布于墨西哥南部至厄瓜多尔西部之间，是由英国动物学家菲利普·斯克莱特于1852年描述的物种。[8]
- G. r. pallens：分布于哥伦比亚北部，是由美国动物学家奥特兰·邦斯于1898年描述的物种。[9]
- G. r. brevirostris：分布于哥伦比亚东北部和委内瑞拉西北部，是由美国鸟类学家查尔斯·B·柯瑞于1913年描述的物种。[10]
- G. r. rufoviridis：分布于巴西中部及南部、玻利维亚北部和巴拉圭，是由德国鸟类学家吉恩·路易斯·卡巴尼斯于1851年描述的物种。[11]
- G. r. heterogyna：分布于玻利维亚东部和巴西西南侧，是由美国鸟类学家沃尔特·埃德蒙·克莱德·托德于1932年描述的物种。[12]

棕尾鹟䴕的体长64—74厘米，体重平均约26.5克。其鸟喙宽平均约5.4毫米、深平均约7.0毫米、嘴峰长平均约53.8毫米，翼展130—150厘米、翼长平均约78.3厘米；跗跖平均长约11.3毫米，尾长平均约10.1厘米。[13]

棕尾鹟䴕受到狩猎压力、人类干扰和栖息地丧失的影响。[14]
数量及保育情形[编辑]
棕尾鹟䴕目前被预估有50万至500万只成鸟，虽然它们能容忍一定程度的栖息地丧失，但仍被认为数量正在减少。[14]因其广大的分布范围，《国际自然保护联盟濒危物种红色名录》将棕尾鹟䴕列为无危物种。[1][14]
