梅尔文·里昂·史陶德迈尔一世（英语：Melvin Leon Stottlemyre Sr.，1941年11月13日—2019年1月13日），为美国职棒大联盟的投手。11年职业生涯皆效力于纽约洋基。退休后他在大都会、太空人、洋基和红袜担任教练长达23年，而他也以教练身份拿下5座世界大赛冠军。

职业生涯

大学时期，史陶德迈尔被洋基球探相中。而他在1961年6月10日与球队签约，并从新人联盟起步。[1]

1962年，他在小联盟投出17胜9败，防御率2.50的成绩。1963年，洋基队将他升上3A。隔年他更是写下联盟最佳的单季防御率—1.64。[2]

1964年8月12日，史陶德迈尔登上大联盟。他在那年拿下9胜3败，帮助洋基队连续5年闯进世界大赛。史陶德迈尔在世界大赛强碰红雀王牌鲍勃·吉布森三次，他在第2场夺胜、第5场无关胜败，却在关键的第7场吞败。[3]

1965年，史陶德迈尔入选明星赛。[4]该年他拿下20胜，18场完投。[5]隔年他虽然再次入选明星赛，[6]不过他却以20败成为联盟败投王。[7]1968年和1969年，史陶德迈尔都拿下单季20胜。[8]而他更是在1969年担任明星赛先发投手。[9]

美国华盛顿州的麦布顿市长，将1964年10月12日这天定为“史陶德迈尔纪念日”。[13]2012年，他入选华盛顿州立美国棒球名人堂。[14]2015年，洋基队在主场后方的纪念碑公园放置了一块史陶德迈尔的匾额。[15][16]

个人生活

结婚之后，史陶德迈尔和他妻子定居在华盛顿州的伊瑟阔。[17]他一共有3个儿子小梅尔、陶德和杰森。除了杰森在11岁因白血病去世外，[18]另外两位后来也都登上大联盟。其中陶德更是帮助蓝鸟队在1992年和1993年夺冠的成员之一。

2000年，史陶德迈尔罹患多发性骨髓瘤。[19]后来他在2011年疾病复发。[20]最后他在2019年1月13日去世，享年77岁。[21]为了纪念史陶德迈尔，洋基队整年球季都在球衣衣袖上贴上黑色臂章。[22]
