讲述年过50的黄金单身汉，同时也是餐厅经营人的吉米·马提诺（约翰·史坦摩斯 饰演），在其亲生儿子杰洛德（乔希·佩克 饰演）带著其女儿现身后，一夜之间，他的人生多出了“爸爸”与“爷爷”两个称呼。
