長嘴星喉蜂鳥（學名：Heliomaster longirostris），是雨燕目蜂鳥科的一種鳥類。[2]其種加詞「longirostris」意為「長吻的」。
長嘴星喉蜂鳥體重約6.6克，翼長約58.4毫米，嘴峰長約35毫米，喙寬度約2.7毫米，喙厚度約2.7毫米，跗蹠長約4.4毫米，尾長約30.7毫米。長嘴星喉蜂鳥在其分布區內為留鳥，其棲息在密集的高大樹木組成的森林中，食性為草食性，主要食物來源是植物的花蜜。[3]
亞種[編輯]
- H. l. pallidiceps：分布於墨西哥南部熱帶地區至尼加拉瓜。
- H. l. longirostris：分布於哥斯達黎加東部至玻利維亞和巴西及特立尼達島。
- H. l. albicrissa：分布於厄瓜多爾西部熱帶地區和秘魯西北部。[4]
