Wikimedia Ukraine, in cooperation with the MFA of Ukraine and Ukrainian Institute, has launched the forth edition of writing challenge "Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month", which lasts from 1st until 31st March 2024. The campaign is dedicated to famous Ukrainian artists of cinema, music, literature, architecture, design and cultural phenomena of Ukraine that are now part of world heritage. We accept contribution in every language! The most active contesters will receive prizes.

维基媒体基金会理事会 2024 遴选
大家好，
今年，维基媒体基金会理事会的四名由社群和维基媒体自治体选出的理事会成员的任期将会结束[1]。维基媒体基金会理事会邀请整个维基媒体运动参与今年的选拔过程并投票填补这些席位。
维基媒体基金会理事会选举委员会将在维基媒体基金会工作人员的支持下监督这一过程[2]。维基媒体基金会理事会治理委员会从无法参与 2024 年由社群和维基媒体自治体选出的理事会成员遴选过程候选人的理事会成员中成立了一个理事会遴选工作小组，由Dariusz Jemielniak，Nataliia Tymkiv，Esra'a Al Shafei，Kathy Collins，和 Shani Evenstein Sigalov 组成[3]。该小组的任务是为维基媒体基金会理事会监督 2024 年理事会成员选择流程，并向理事会通报情况。请参阅此处以了解有关选举委员会、理事会和工作人员角色的更多详细资讯 [4]。

- EntitySchemas: We are getting back to making architecture improvements to enable the new datatype to link to EntitySchemas in statements.
- IP masking: We wrapped up the work on adapting Wikibase for the upcoming IP masking changes.
- Query Service: We added the ability to stop a query in the UI in order to not have to wait for a broken query to finish or run into a time-out. You can find the stop button below the run button in the query UI now.

以下是本年3月，基金会及全域社群相关且影响本站社群事项之整理。此整理复制自本人用户页 User:SCP-2000/WMF update。
- 2024-03-30：基金会正开发手机应用程序的反破坏功能，以便拥有回退权限的用户能随时反破坏。该功能让用户透过最近修改来回退破坏、警告及感谢用户（演示影片），而未来会增加预设警告讯息及改进用户自定义讯息的功能（相关文档）。如果任何意见，可至讨论页提出。
- 2024-03-25：基金会正制定产品与技术部门的年度计划，而年度计划将决定未来一年的开发方向。他们向社群提出了以下的问题，包括：如何帮助社群应对破坏及合规性等挑战；如何帮助社群贡献更多可靠的内容，但同时符合社群对内容品质的要求；如何让编者明白其编辑有意义，并共同努力贡献条目；如何令读者更容易发现我们的内容和与之互动。如有任何意见，可至元维基讨论页提出。
- 2024-03-11：通用行为准则协调委员会（U4C）选举现已开始，任何人只要符合资格均可提名自己成为候选人。是次提名期至 4 月 1 日完结。提名资格及如何提名等事宜可见此页面。另外，U4C《组织章程》批准投票之评论报告已经公布。
- 2024-03-02：基金会与 Flickr Foundation 合作开发全新的小工具 Flickypedia，用于将 Flickr 的图片转移至共享资源。此工具参考现有相同功能的小工具 Flickr2Commons 而开发，并作出相应改良，包括增加相应提示以免上传版权不相容的图片等。详见共享资源的项目页。
