玛利亚·蕾普亭 （英语：Maria Leptin，1954年—），德国发育生物学家和免疫学家，现任欧洲研究委员会主席，2010至2021年的欧洲分子生物学组织理事长。

蕾普亭于波恩大学与海德堡大学就读数学和生物学[15]。她原本计划当老师，但上过巴素尔免疫学研究所研究员指导的实习课后，决定到该研究所攻读博士，并在1979年入学[19]。她在弗里兹·梅尔彻斯的指导下[20]研究在对抗感染的免疫反应中，B细胞如何被激活变成等离子体细胞[21]。蕾普亭于1983年博士毕业[17]。

职业生涯[编辑]

完成博士学位后，蕾普亭于1984年加入剑桥的分子生物学实验室，在麦克·威尔科斯的研究小组中当博士后，并开始涉足发育生物学，研究特定位置的整合素如何影响果蝇的胚胎发育[14][17][22][23]。1988年，她成为分子生物学实验室的研究员[17]。

蕾普亭在分子生物学实验室的日子，使她对细胞形状、早期细胞迁移及原肠胚形成产生兴趣[21]。后者是蕾普亭1989年于加利福尼亚大学旧金山分校帕特里克·奥法雷尔研究小组访问时方开始研究[17][20]。同年，她转到德国图宾根的马克斯·普朗克发育生物学研究所，带领一小组专攻原肠胚形成[15]。1994年，蕾普亭成为科隆大学遗传学研究所教授至今[24]。现时，蕾普亭于科隆大学仍带领小组[25]，初时延续其在马克斯·普朗克发育生物学研究所有关原肠胚形成的研究[26][27]，但后来改为针对果蝇呼吸系统的发育[21][28]，及以斑马鱼作模式生物来研究先天免疫反应[21][29]。

学术交流方面，蕾普亭2001年先于巴黎高等师范学院任访问教授，再在2004-2005年于英国维康桑格研究所当访问研究员[15][17]。

2009年，蕾普亭获任命为欧洲分子生物学组织理事长[4]，并于翌年1月上任[20]。同时她也在海德堡的欧洲分子生物学实验室设立研究小组，研究决定果蝇细胞形状的因素[30]及在斑马鱼活体内拍摄先天免疫反应[31][32]。

蕾普亭是牛津大学2018年的细胞及发育生物学访问教授[5]。

2021年6月，蕾普亭被委任为欧洲研究委员会下任主席，原定于2021年10月1日履新[15][16][33][34]，但后来宣布她会延至11月1日上任[35][36]。

学术职务以外，蕾普亭曾是德国发育生物学学会主席（1996-1997）、英国巴布拉罕研究所董事（1996-2009）、马克斯·德尔布吕克分子医学中心董事（2004-2009）、德国遗传学学会咨询委员会成员（2008-2012）及欧洲科学倡议组织主席（2012-2017）[17]。她于1996-2001年是《发育生物学》期刊的编辑委员会成员，并于2002-2009年间担任《发育机制》和《基因表达形式》两本期刊的共同编辑[17]。现时，蕾普亭是分子生物科技研究所[37]及新加坡国立大学机械生物学研究所[38]的科学咨询委员会成员、科隆大学理事会成员[39]，以及克里斯汀·纽斯林-沃尔哈德基金会董事[40]。
