脂尾袋鼬（Sminthopsis crassicaudata ）是一種類似於老鼠的有袋類動物。它平均體長60—90公釐（2.4—3.5英寸） ，尾巴長45—70公釐（1.8—2.8英寸） 。耳長14—16公釐（0.55—0.63英寸） 。脂尾袋鼬主要分佈於金伯利和北領地、阿納姆地和卡卡杜國家公園。脂尾袋鼬可以在極端、半乾旱的環境中生存[3]。
