血管紧张肽I转化酶(英語:Angiotensin-converting enzyme,又称为血管紧张素转化酶,简称为ACEEC 3.4.15.1)是一种外肽酶


功能

主要功能有以下两个:

血管紧张素转化酶因这两种功能而成为治疗高血压心力衰竭2型糖尿病糖尿病肾病等疾病的理想靶点。血管紧张素转化酶抑制剂能减少血管紧张素II的生成,并增加缓激肽的活性。

此外,ACE也能催化血管紧张素-(1-9)转化为血管紧张素-(1-7)
