凯伦·舒·彭斯（英语：Karen Sue Pence，1957年1月1日—），婚前原姓柏藤（英语：Batten），是一位美国教师及画家。凯伦是第48任美国副总统迈克·彭斯的妻子，曾任美国第二夫人及印第安纳州第一夫人。在任美国第二夫人的后期，凯伦重启其教职，在弗吉尼亚州的一所私立学校中任艺术教师。

凯伦于1957年1月1日[1]在堪萨斯州的麦康奈尔空军基地（英语：McConnell Air Force Base）出生，[2][3][4]其母为莉莲·彭斯（1931年－2004年），[5]父亲为约翰·M·柏藤（1931年－1988年），曾于联合航空任职。[6]然而，两人于凯伦年幼时已离婚，莉莲·彭斯于1968年与男子伯纳德·巴西奥（Bernard Barcio）再婚。[7]凯伦于印第安纳州首府印第安纳波利斯的社区宽波纹村（英语：Broad Ripple Village, Indianapolis）长大，并于主教查塔德高中（英语：Bishop Chatard High School）就读，毕业时担任毕业生代表。[8][9]其后，她在巴特勒大学修读教育、副修艺术，[10]并于该校获初等教育理学士及理学硕士学位。[11]

凯伦于2017年至2021年担任美国第二夫人一职，接替离任的吉尔·拜登。她雇用了克里斯蒂安·金·内文斯（Kristan King Nevins）为参谋长，内文斯曾在前第一夫人芭芭拉·布什的任期中担任过相同职务。[9][14]凯伦在任期间积极推广艺术治疗予大众认识，她是在丈夫担任众议员期间，在华盛顿的医院就诊时首次接触这种疗法。[12][15]2017年10月，她在参观佛罗里达州立大学校园时，重点介绍了该大学自1990年代起开展的艺术疗法计划。[16]

在高中时，凯伦结识了第一任丈夫约翰·史蒂文·惠特克（John Steven Whitaker），惠特克为一医学生，[9]他们于1978年8月4日在得克萨斯州布鲁斯德郡结婚，然则最终离婚。[26][27][9]

凯伦与彭斯是在印第安纳波利斯的教堂里相识，两人皆定期到该市的圣托马斯·阿奎那斯教堂（St. Thomas Aquinas Church）参与活动，[10][28]其后，两人首次约会的地点为印第安纳州博览会，他们在会场里溜冰。经过约九个月的恋爱后，[29]他们于1984年8月订婚，[29]并于1985年6月8日结婚。[10][30][31]他们原为罗马天主教徒，后来在1995年转为福音派基督教。[9]
