    1.除非我自己提DYK或留过特别评论，否则可能一到三天才来DYK看一下，有事应该到我的讨论页留言，否则就算我偶尔在线上，也不会注意到任何呼叫。
    2.美国宪法原文并非不许征收所得税，有法源，也确曾征收、且由国会制订过相关法律，此修正案只是解除直接税需由各州依人口摊派的限制。Pollock案只说某些联邦征收所得税的方式违宪，而非你在首段所翻译的“禁止”，所以你“推翻”一节也有误。你应该把全文看过一次，并用至少一段话描述本修正案争点之各方意见来龙去脉。
    3.我还是觉得这些美宪修正案的标题应改为“宪法第十六修正案”或“宪法修正案第十六条”，以免误导（虽然宪法原文只有七条）。 -- WildCursive（留言） 2013年5月11日 (六) 10:13 (UTC)[回复]

这修正案是推翻了Pollock案，但Pollock案“不是禁止征收所得税”而只是“某些联邦征收所得税的方式违宪”（only held that a tax on the income derived from real or personal property was so close to a tax on that property that it could not be imposed without apportionment.）所以被推翻的就不是你说的。

  • After Pollock, while income taxes on wages (as indirect taxes) were still not required to be apportioned by population, taxes on interest, dividends and rent income were required to be apportioned by population.
